Death of Bin Laden

On September 11, 2001, brutal and unprovoked attacks on the United States of America took thousands of innocent American lives. This multi-pronged attack was sponsored by the terrorist organization called al-Qaeda, at the direction of their leader Osama Bin Laden, who took responsibility for these attacks. On May 1, 2011 Osama Bin Laden was brought to justice for his actions by members of the US Navy Seals.
High praise goes to our intelligence agencies for their unstinting work in locating this terrorist. More importantly, I want to salute all of the volunteer military personnel who coordinated and executed the plan to rid the earth of this cancer. I thank God that no American life was lost in this action that concluded with the death of Bin Laden.
The outcome of this action demonstrates the professionalism of our military and the dedication of the CIA. It also clearly reinforces the fact that enemies of the United States have no sanctuary.
