Congratulations to our new Arizona Speaker of the House Andy Tobin. Speaker Tobin has worked diligently for his constituents, the House Republican Caucus and the people of Arizona. His leadership in advancing the conservative Republican program was recognized by the unanimous support of his fellow lawmakers for Speaker. I look forward to working with the new Speaker as we enter the 2012 Election cycle.  I predict Speaker Tobin will lead us to unprecedented victories .

I also Congratulate Steve Court the new Majority Leader for the Arizona House of Representatives. I look forward to working with Majority Leader Court. The Arizona Republican Legislative leaders have done a fantastic job this year and I am excited about the prospects for our state under this new leadership team in the House of Representatives.

While the prospects for the future are bright, it is somewhat a bittersweet time as we lose the legislative leadership of outgoing Speaker Kirk Adams.  He will be missed at the Capitol, however, we know that he will continue to serve Arizona and the Republican Party in other avenues.  His leadership has been crucial in providing solutions to the challenges facing Arizona on the road to economic recovery --  closing our State General Fund structural deficit, reducing taxes, protecting private property, and defending the Constitution.    

I wish him and his family the best as he moves forward on his path of service.
